After last year’s great reception, the Nettoki Program it is on again to aid entrepreneurs of the Internet sector. The program is endorsed by Biscay’s company Conteneo, with over 10 years of experience in the launching and starting up of online projects and extensive trajectory as Business Angel. Moreover, in this edition it will be joined by the organization of Investment Fund and Start-ups Accelerator Microwave Ventures, integrated by a multidisciplinary team of Business Angels with the aim of financing and supporting the launching and development of technologic start-ups from their beginnings. Nettoki will also have the backing of AlhóndigaBilbao again, where all the interested entrepreneurs will submit their initiatives.
Every project selected by Nettoki will automatically enter in a program created to accelerate Start-ups. A program led by Conteneo and Microwave Ventures that will have a maximum length of six months. Once finished, depending on the degree of development of the particular project, both Conteneo and Microwave Ventures will be able to select one or more projects to be financed with an inversion of 30 thousand euros each. A quantity that considerably exceeds the one from last year.
To reach an agreement in those assessments, organizers will take into account the most innovative projects, with a clear-cut business model and with adequate equipment capable of developing it.
The time limit to submit the applications will be June 30th of 2013, even if projects will be selected regularly until them. What are you waiting for?

Punteron, the sports blog of Conteneo, has made a leap forward, both in quality and quantity. Transformed now in an Online Sports Journal, it premieres a new look and notably expands its content, with regularly updated news, reviews, forecasts, analysis and trivia around sports by and large: obviously centering on football and basketball, but with an special space in Punteron also for every other sport.
Moreover, the new Online Sports Journal offers a wide vision of sports, from the different perspective of the fifteen collaborators that already have their own space -in the form of a microblog- inside Punteron. Conteneo has decided to boost the web-page Plannic, focused on leisure time, through a capital injection and other complementary services, after working along with the promotion team on the Nettoki project, centered on Internet Entrepeneurs.
Nettoki, Conteneo’s program to support recreational and cultural projects in the web, has allowed to develop jointly some tutoring in which differents aspects of the business have been rated and guided.
The input of Conteneo will give a boost to Plannic, current leader in Madrid’s community, to make it become a reference site in Spanish, in the sector of planning organization between friends and people with the same interests and hobbies.
Rubén Iglesias, CEO of Conteneo, will participate in the III High Traffic Websites Congress which will take place on the 17th of May in Madrid. Organised by ‘Networking Activo’, the event will gather a select group of web and online sites’ administrators and managers with the aim of debating new ways of improving profitability, the potential of mobile devices to increase traffic and the development of strategies on social networking. From the conclusions reached on this congress, a report will be written, which will be a reference for more than 20.000 professionals and companies part of Networking Activo.

The site has been progressively growing since it was launched back in 2009 and there has been a new focus in users’ demands, most of whom are students.
